Zakat Foundation Provides Daily Iftar Dinners for Chicago Mosques

Every day during the month of Ramadan, from Aug. 22 to Sept. 20, 2009, Zakat Foundation worked with local partners to cook and deliver warm iftar dinners in seven Chicagoland mosques. These wholesome meals were provided to ensure that impoverished members of each community had the nutritious means and a positive atmosphere to break their daily fast. More than 250 people benefited each day from the meals.
